- Dr Henning Kreke to join the supervisory board on schedule and to assume the role of chairman
- Decision on new CEO expected in a matter of weeks
Hagen, 27 January 2016. During its meeting on 27 January, the supervisory board of DOUGLAS HOLDING AG decided as planned to replace Dr Henning Kreke as CEO and appoint him chairman of the supervisory board. Looking back on his almost 15 years at the helm of DOUGLAS HOLDING, the supervisory board thanked Dr Henning Kreke for his excellent work for Douglas and the many years of close collaboration.
A decision on the succession to the role of CEO is expected over the next weeks.
Henning Kreke comments: “After handing over the operating responsibility, I am now looking forward to my new role as chairman of the supervisory board and will continue to take an active part in the strategic development of the company. The first order of business for the supervisory board will be the nomination of the new CEO.”
Meanwhile, the managing directors of the Douglas Perfumeries Claudia Reinery and Isabelle Parize have been appointed to the executive board of DOUGLAS HOLDING AG. They will co-lead Douglas’ operating activities together with their colleague and Douglas-CFO Erika Tertilt effective immediately.
